What changed in the Studio this week

Waveform styles, lyric appearance, timing review, completion emails and more.

Waveforms

Song waveforms now offer more than the single continuous style. Choose bars or continuous, set the colour and opacity, and place the waveform above or below the lyrics.

The Studio preview plays the waveform animation while you adjust these settings, so you can see how it will look in the final video before you commit to a render.

Lyric appearance

Lyrics can now be set to any opacity from 0 to 100%. An outline width from 0 to 20 px is available as well, with 0 turning the outline off.

The opacity also scales the outline and shadow while preserving the effect fades, and an outline opacity override can adjust the outline independently of the lyric text.

Fonts and previews now match the final renderer. Saved fonts come from the owner-checked library, and the preview uses the same ASS and libass path as the render, so what you see is what you get.

Timing review

Timing review is now visible beside video generation in the Studio, so you can adjust lyric timings while a video is being prepared.

You can also insert a new line into the timing review, which is useful when adding a lyric that was missed during analysis. Inserted lines follow the reviewed timing rather than the raw transcription.

Reviewing and publishing

Generation rows are simpler: primary actions are kept together, and the public status of lyric syncing and video generation is clearer.

Saved word timings can be exported as reusable, non-rendering ASS subtitles from ready, complete, failed, interrupted or cancelled generations, without a successful MP4 or retained render file.

Failed generations with saved timing can be duplicated with new settings after execution ownership is released.

Notifications

Opt-in timing-ready and MP4-ready completion emails are now available. They are separate from newsletter consent and are only sent when a generation finishes.

The production dispatcher operations for these emails are documented, covering scheduling, delivery leases and the verification steps before enabling the database-backed deployment.

Account and navigation

The shared navigation and account controls are simpler, and the Studio defaults saved in Verseframe Settings now apply to new jobs while existing generations keep their own settings.

The footer now includes Verseframe social links.

Reliability

Audio file selection is fixed on iOS, and the public processing statuses are simplified so progress is easier to read.

The production notification dispatcher operations are documented for the team.
